I lie there restless waiting for the dark to come,

I hum a lullaby to ease my pain,

Silently I wait in the shadows,

My eyes glowing a blood red,

I begin to wonder... I ask myself will he ever come?

Will my Prince of Darkness ever come?



I wait in the shadows for the full moon,

It rises and I step out into the moon lit night,

The bright moonlight reveals my true nature,

Hair as black as the abyss with highlights of the sun,

Eyes as red as blood which runs through a Mortal's veins,

Skin soft and fair,

I look down at my hands which are as pale and cold as death,
